PENNEY, Doris W.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, February 7, 2006, Doris W. Penney of Carbonear, age 90 years. Predeceased by husband: William E.; grandson: David; brother: Llewellyn. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Judy (Cyril) Anthony, Clarke's Beach, Yvonne (John) Antle, Victoria and Glenis (David) Pike, Carbonear; two sons: Guy (Ada), Carbonear and Roy (Bonnie), Paradise; eight grandchildren: Sherry, Sharon, Cathy, Barry, William 'Bill', Penney, Deanne and Craig; thirteen great-grandchildren: Mallory, Nathan, Damon, Victoria, Jesse, Ethan, Jared, Sarah, Matthew, Jane, Allison, Emma and Austin; one sister: Laura Dean, Carbonear; special friends: Janet Hiscock and George and Lillian Homer; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Friday, February 10. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
