Obituary of Elizabeth Parsons

PARSONS, Elizabeth G.- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 1, 2005, Elizabeth G. Parsons of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 95 years. Predeceased by her husband S. Andrew, parents Samuel and Elizabeth Janes, brother Jack Janes and sisters Hilda Janes, Mae Stewart, Nellie Janes and Col. Hannah Janes. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Addy (Robert) Stewart, Bradford, New Hampshire, USA and Dorothy (Embry) Hudson, Adams Cove; three sons: Clarence (Myrtle), Freshwater, Carbonear, S. Woodrow (Marjorie), New Market, ON and Clayton (Ethelwynne), Freshwater, Carbonear; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Monday, October 3. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear.
