SHEPPARD, William J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, August 10, 2005, William J. Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 73 years. Predeceased by first wife: Philomena; daughter-in-law: Kay. Leaving to mourn, wife: Yvonne; three daughters: Evelyn (Jim) Pynn and Kathy (Kenneth) Tetford, both of Harbour Grace and Debbie (Glenn) Vokey, Spaniard's Bay; four sons: Peter and William Jr., both of Harbour Grace, Paul (Penny), Chamberlains and George (Sandi), Paradise; three step-daughters: Linda (Steve) Abbott, South River, Betty (George) Keeping, Corner Brook and Susan Harris, Toronto, ON; four step-sons: Alexander (Marilyn) Harris, Saskatoon, SK, James (Marg) Harris, Bay Roberts, Albert (Judy) Harris, Bristol's Hope and Robert Harris, Langley, BC; fourteen grandchildren: Jamie (Rick), Jillian, Kristianne, Kerrilynne, Scott, Caitlin, Kyle, Kearan, Tara, Brad, Sydney, Shelby, Rebecca and Sarah; fourteen step-grandchildren: Stephanie, Michael, Mark, Matthew, Nicole, Amanda, Marjorie, Yvette, Adam, Rob (Augusta), Rebecca, James, Andrew and Jessica; two sisters: Lillian Titford, Spaniard's Bay and Mary (Fred) Barnes, Harbour Grace; brother-in-law: George German, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Friday, August 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church Restoration Fund.
