BURSEY, Charles W.- Passed suddenly away at Gosse's Nursing Home, Spaniard's Bay on Monday, August 8, 2005, Charles W. Bursey of Lower Island Cove, age 54 years. Predeceased by wife: Phyllis Joan; parents: Walter and Eliza. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Shelley (Scott) Dawe, Paradise; one son: Tony (Nicole), Edmonton, AB; three grandchildren: Zachary, Alicia and Coady; five brothers: William J. (Ann), Betmont, Massachusetts, Stephen (Joyce), Lower Island Cove, Fred (Virginia), Old Perlican, Paul (Janis), Bible Hill, NS and Clyde (Doreen), Lower Island Cove; three sisters: Myrtle (Cyril) Manuel, Bramalea, ON, Mabel Andrews, Oshawa, ON and Ruby (William) Woodcock, Cape Coral, FL; brothers-in-law: John (Lori) Robbins, Mississauga, ON and Junior Robbins, Avondale; sisters-in-law: Jean (Graham) Tilley, Hailfax, NS, Judy (Harry) Rodgers, Mount Pearl and June (Jim) Strong, Manuels; extended family of residents and staff at Gosse's Nursing Home, Spaniard's Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Salvation Army Citadel Lower Island Cove and from where the funeral will take place on Thursday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Charles W. Bursey Memorial Fund.
