Obituary of Rosalie Howell

HOWELL, Rosalie- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, Rosalie Howell of Carbonear, age 67 years. Predeceased by husband: Frederick 2001, parents: Cecil and Winnifred King; brother: Chesley. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Karen (Don) Griffin, Carbonear, Peggy (Wayne) Rose, Harbour Grace and Shirley (Paul) Butt, Carbonear; four sons: Fred (Sharon), Victoria, Ronald (Pauline), Butlerville, Donald and Terry (Roberta), both of Carbonear and with whom she resided; eight grandchildren: Michelle (Frankie), Sheldon, Sherry (Jason), Melissa (Brad), Deanne (Joe), Bradley (Stephanie), Jessica and Kaitlyn; two great-grandchildren: Lukas and Emma; five brothers: Donald (Florence), Mount Pearl, Herman (Jessie), Cecil (Sylvia), Albert (Cynthia) and Gilbert (Diane), all of Victoria; three sisters: Vera (Derrick) Penney and Louise (Roy) Rose, both of Salmon Cove and Ruby (Wallace) Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Melvina King, Victoria and Stella Lockyer, Harbour Grace; brothers-in-law: Wilson (Norma) Powell and Clyde (Rose) Powell, both of Gander and Gerald (Hilda) Howell, Halifax, NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Friday, March 4. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Carbonear Interfaith Cemetery Fund.
