Obituary of Florence Kennedy

KENNEDY, Florence M.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2005, Florence M. Kennedy of Harbour Grace, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: M. Frank, 1983; grandson; Christopher Kennedy; brothers: Pat, Ron, Bill, Leo, Jim and Mike; sister: Mary; son-in-law: Philip Critch. Leaving to mourn four daughters: Marie (Steve) Holloway, Harbour Grace, Patsy Critch, St. John's, Elizabeth (George) Sweeney, Carbonear, Marguerite (Eric) Rose, St. John's; four sons: M. Frank (Glenys), St. John's, Steve (Ann) and Terry (Cathy), both of Marystown and Gerard (Mary), Halifax, NS; eighteen grandchildren: Deanna, Lynn, Stephen, Erin, Mark, Lesley, Kevin, Katie, Erica, Jill, Michael, Stephen, Brian, Tommy, Terry, Maryann, Amanda and Shayla; one great-grandson: Jordon Connor; one sister: Marguerite Ryan, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral will take place on Thursday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
