Obituary of Phyllis Slade

SLADE, Phyllis - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, Phyllis Slade of Kelligrews, formerly of Salmon Cove, age 50 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Elexey; brother: Barry. Leaving to mourn, three sisters: Florence (Fred) Trickett, Perry's Cove, Harriet (Doug) Parsons, Salmon Cove and Doreen (Scott) Noel, Kingston, ON; seven brothers: Sterling (Bertha), Harold (Laura) and Ralph, all of Salmon Cove, William (Carolann) and Matthew (Dorothy), both of Broad Cove, Walter (Wanda), Salmon Cove and John (Stephanie), Victoria; special niece: Cathy, St. John's; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Thursday, August 26. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Phyllis Slade Memorial Fund.
