Butt, Roland James 'Jim'- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, June 26, 2004, Roland James 'Jim' Butt of Victoria, age 84 years. Predeceased by parents: Charles and Laura Butt; sister: Mabel Noel. Leaving to mourn wife: Lillian M.; brother: John (Ruby) Butt, Freshwater, Carbonear; sisters: Daphne (Bruce) Abbott, Harbour Grace, Florence Noel, Carbonear, Ciceily (Alec) Bishop, Seal Cove and Peg (John) Cayer, Ontario; brother-in-law: Ted Noel, Freshwater, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. At Jim's request, no visitation or memorial service will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church, Victoria.
