HEDGES, Daphne V. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, Daphne V. Hedges of Carbonear, age 56 years. Predeceased by father: Norman and brother: Karl. Leaving to mourn, husband: Noel; two daughters: Sonya (Sean) Penney, St. Philips and Cindy (Robert) Wilson, Toronto, ON; one special granddaughter: Samantha Penney; mother: Dorothy E. Priddle, Victoria; two brothers: Paul (Betty) Priddle, Carbonear and Edward (Debbie) Priddle, Victoria; three sisters: Virginia (Don) Deering, Shearstown, Debbie (Berkley) Sellars, Western Bay and Cynthia Priddle, Mount Pearl; brother-in-law: George Hedges, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Flora (Reginald) Crane, St. John's; a large number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 18. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment to follow in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. No flowers by request, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Daphne V. Hedges Memorial Fund.
