Obituary of Eleanor Moores

MOORES, Eleanor Beatrice - Passed peacefully away after a heroic 10-year struggle with cancer at St. John's on May 12, Eleanor Beatrice Moores of Carbonear in her 65th year. Predeceased by her parents George and Effie Moores and her brother-in-law Leslie Moore, Eleanor will be sadly missed by her sister and best friend Doreen Moore, her brother Charl, her sister-in-law Janice, her nieces and nephew: Lesley-Anne Moore, Jennifer (Michael) Faber, and Derek (Pamela) Moore, other family and friends: especially her great-nephew Trenton Faber, Cambridge, ON and her great-niece Ella Moore, Paradise, NL. At Eleanor's request cremation has already taken place. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear, on Thursday, May 17, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Noel's Memorial Chapel. Inurnment in the family plot with her dear Mother and Father in Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear. No flowers by request. Donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to the SPCA.
