PAYNE, Frances S. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, March 31, 2004, Frances S. Payne of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Edward; daughters: Shirley, Rosalind and Susan; son: Donald; granddaughter: Barbara; son-in-law: Brian; parents: Corbett and Annie Legge and brother: William. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Mae King, Harbour Grace and Phyllis (Richard) Keen, Lower Sackville, NS; two sons: James (Clara), Toronto, ON and John (Linda), Harbour Grace; ten grandchildren: Donna (Brian), James (Cheryl), Robert (Sherry), Richard (Tracy), Dianne (Dave), Christopher, Leslie, Wendy (Emmanuel), Brad (Sandra) and Jill (Kevin); thirteen great-grandchildren: Sara, Eddy, Noah, Lauren, Danielle, Torrye, Amy, Lewis, Vincent, James, Jonathan and Jorja; son-in-law: Christopher Harris, Fort McMurray, AB; two sisters: Phyllis Butters, St. John's and Lillian Legge, Cavendish; two sisters-in-law: Clara Haire, Collingwood Downs, Clarke's Beach and Helen Payne, Gander; brother-in-law: William Noel, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Saturday, April 3. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
