O'GRADY, Thomas E. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, March 18, 2004, Thomas E. O'Grady of Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by wife: Alice M.; grandson: Wade Preston Hawe; brothers: Dennis and Joe; sisters: Kate and Philomena. Leaving to mourn one daughter: Alice (Cyril) Hawe, Port de Grave; six sons: Michael (Marion), Thomas Jr. (Ann) and Jerry (Louise), all of PEI, Gregory, Toronto, ON, Dennis (Stella), Mount Pearl and Gerard (Bonnie), St. John's; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Mike (Phyllis), Gander; one sister: Joan Griffin; Carbonear; sister-in-law: Emmie O'Grady, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Edward Meadows, Florida; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral will take place on Monday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
