HISCOCK, Gladys Marion McDonald - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, March 8, 2004, Gladys Marion McDonald Hiscock of Carbonear, age 77 years. Predeceased by husband: George; half brothers: Arthur Langer, Ralph Langer and Clarence Warren; one sister: Amy Hatten. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Carol Ann (Brian) Gallant, Carbonear and Mary Lou (Alvin) Rose, Mount Pearl; three sons: Jim, Ottawa, ON, Ted (Elizabeth), Clarenville and Chris (Cheryl), Carbonear; ten grandchildren: Darrin, David, Darlene, Jennifer, Nicole, Tammy, Debbie, B.J., Samantha and Kristen; two great-grandchildren: Michael and Logan; special niece: Mildred (Francis) Glynn, New Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. Then resting at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Heart's Content on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Cemetery, Heart's Content. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to an Anglican Parish of one's choice.
