COISH, George W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, December 17, 2003, George W. Coish of Western Bay, age 88 years. Predeceased by wife: Cora; daughter: Venetta; great-granddaughters: Katelyn; brother: Harold and sisters: Mildred and Annie. Leaving to mourn one daughter: Yvonne (George) Vaters, Edmonton, AB; one son: Dennis (Grace), Western Bay; son-in-law: Cyril Temple, Norman's Cove; ten grandchildren: Desmond, Jeffery, Tammy, Jennifer, Gary (Cynthia), Craig (Lisa), Ross (Heather), Sandra (Junior), Sharon (Derek) and Joy (Barry); twelve great-grandchildren: Uriah, Damien, Megan, Dylan, Jordyn, Denille, Nikita, Cassidy, Brittany, Joshua, Bailey and Gerard; one sister: Myrtle Dale, St. John's; sister-in-law: Allison (Wilson) Temple, Norman's Cove; brothers-in-law: William Kennedy and Angus (Mary) Kennedy both of Western Bay and Herbert Simmons, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 12:00 noon Saturday, December 20. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church and Cemetery, Western Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
