Jenny & Melanie, Where do I start, Your mom treated me as if I was one of her own. She was a kind women always wearing a smile. I remember every single Sunday she would get ready and come all the way to Carbonear just to cook dinner with my mom, it actually became a sunday ritual and if she wasnt there the day would definatley not be complete. I am here if you need me girls Dont ever forget it. Love you both. Love: Your Cousin: Sarah garlandxoxoxo

To Aiden, Jennifer, Melanie, Shawn and families: my deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one, Elsie. I work with Maureen, she speaks very fondly of you and your family and I know she is saddened by Elsie's passing as well. May you find strength through fond memories, your family, and God to help you through this difficult time. Take care.

I remember Elsie as a very kind and caring person, who would do anything for anybody. She treated everyone alike whether you were her friend or a stranger. At Elsie's and Aiden's home you were always welcomed. She was a wonderful mother and wife. My son Mitchell and I will always remember the turkey dinner with had with Elsie and her family just this Sunday past. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
