GEORGE, Gwen - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, June 23, 2003, Gwen George of Harbour Grace, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: Lawrence 1997, brother: Bernard; sister: Edna. Leaving to mourn: two brothers: Eric (Winnie) Parsons, St. John's and Walter Parsons, Harbour Grace; one sister: Isabelle 'Dolly' (Hubert) Barnes, Bishop's Falls; special niece: Louise (Tom) Harris, Carbonear; special friends: Ann (Bert) Peddle and Louise Archibald, both of Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Wednesday, June 25. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace or the Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation.
