Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, April 10, 2008 Patrick J. McCarthy of Gull Island, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Mary Ann; brother: Jim; brother-in-law: Bob Rohlik. Leaving to mourn, wife: Helen; two daughters: Kelly (Jay) Jagros, Mississauga, ON and Crystal McCarthy, St. John's; one son: Dean (Michelle), Mississauga, ON; six grandchildren: Samantha, Stephanie, Madlynn, Gordie, Ryan and Jacob; one great-grandson: Jonathan; parents-in-law: Ellis and Sarah Oliver, Northern Bay; two brothers: Tom (Bertha), Montreal and Dan (Angela), Gull Island; two sisters: Mary Rohlik, Montreal and Elizabeth (John) Trobl, Toronto, ON; also a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, April 13 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mass to take place on Monday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Wednesday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. from the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
