LAING, Ruby Lorraine- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2008, Ruby Lorraine Laing of Carbonear, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: Herbert and Hannah Laing; sisters: Clarice, Annie and Olive; brothers: James, Douglas, Ephriam and Leslie. Leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews and good friends and her little buddy Brewster. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. A private inurnment at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
