Obituary of Effie May Russell

RUSSELL, Effie May- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, Effie May Russell of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: Lockard Sr.; brothers: Christopher and Lewis; sisters: Rebecca. Pearl and Ethel; brothers-in-law: Alex, Freeman and Herbert. Leaving to mourn: five daughters: Francis (Wayne) Nugent, Spaniard's Bay, Minnie (Lloyd) Snow, Bay Roberts, Mabel (Milton) Reid and Effie (Cameron) Rowsell, both of Miles Cove, Greenbay and Alliene (Bill) Bishop, Bay Roberts; three sons: Hayward ( Lillian), Lockard (Joan) and Lewis (Betty), all of Victoria; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; one sister: Minnie Bishop, Bay Roberts; sister-in-law: Sadie Mercer, Bay Roberts; brother-in-law: Valentine Hayward, Western Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria and from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Victoria.
