Obituary of Jeanette Swain

SWAIN, Jeanette- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 31, 2008, Jeanette Swain of Perry's Cove, age 48 years. Predeceased by parents: Alexander and Gertrude Cole; brother: Alexander Jr. Leaving to mourn, husband: Melvin Sr.; two daughters: Chastity Swain and Leslie (Jamie)King, both of Perry's Cove; one son: Melvin Jr. (Christa), Salmon Cove; two grandchildren: Alicia and Darren King; one brother: James (Vickie) Cole, Alberta; four sisters: Ivy (Lloyd) Clarke, Carbonear, Shirley (Roy) Parsons, Victoria, Gertie (Walter) King, Perry's Cove and Marie (Lloyd) Priddle, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Rosalind (Andrew) Butt, Perry's Cove, Maxine (Bill) Peckham, Mildred Swain, Diane (Harold) Peach and Jeannie (Keith) Penney, all of Salmon Cove and Jane (Derm) O'Leary, Ontario; brothers-in-law: John Edgar (Evelyn) Swain and Joseph (Valetta) Swain, both of Perry's Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Monday, February 4. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Perry's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Jeanette Swain Memorial Fund.
