PENNEY, Asaph 'Ace'- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, December 20, 2007, Asaph 'Ace' Penney of Carbonear, age 63 years. Predeceased by mother: Zelpha; father-in-law: David Goods and brother-in-law: Peter Goods. Leaving to mourn wife: Ann; son: Sean (Sonya), Portugal Cove-St. Philips; two grandchildren: Samantha and Matthew; father: William Sr., Carbonear; one brother: William, Labrador; two sisters: Linda Penney, BC and Lydia Baker, AB; mother-in-law: Katherine Goods, Guelph, ON; sisters-in-law: Susan (Bryan) Neath, Christine (Gerry) Mahoney, Mary Cook and Judy Overland, all of Guelph, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Sunday, December 23. Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Daffodil Place c/o the Canadian Cancer Society, P.O.
