NOEL, Violet- Passed peacefully away at Hoyles Escasoni Complex, St. John's on Thursday, December 13, 2007, Violet Noel originally of Harbour Grace, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: George Frederick; infant daughter: Elizabeth and baby son. Leaving to mourn: one son: George F. Jr., St. John's; two grandchildren: Sharon Noel (David Pitcher) and Gregory A. Noel (Paula); five great-grandchildren: Sarah, Kate and Mark Pitcher, Andrew and Evan Noel; special friends and relatives: Ken and Olive Sheppard, Roy Noel and Jessie (Norman) Tilley; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE on Friday, December 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, December 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Funeral service to follow on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
