Obituary of Stella Wheeler

WHEELER, Stella- Passed peacefully away at the Miller Centre, St. John's on Sunday, April 29, 2007, Stella Wheeler of Lower Island Cove, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents: Elisha and Bessie Jane; brothers: William, Charles, John and Allan. Leaving to mourn, husband: Hemen; three daughters: Margaret Wheeler, Mount Pearl, Myrtle (Bob) Jewers, Lower Island Cove and Fern Wheeler, St. John's; four grandchildren: Glenn (Sonya), Trevor (Tonya), Gregory (Kelly) and Kirk; five great-grandchildren: Ryan, Hailey, Randi, Kennadi and Brayden; two brothers: Roland (Janet) Knapman, Penfield, NY and Lloyd (Eliza) Knapman, Lower Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay Monday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. then resting at the Salvation Army Citadel Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. and from where the funeral will take place on Wednesday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
