SUTTON, Laura- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, April 12, 2007, Laura Sutton of Victoria, age 91 years. Predeceased by sisters: Fannie Earle and Susie Chislett; brother: Albert Burke. Leaving to mourn, husband: Emmanuel; two daughters: Emma (Joseph) Noel, Carbonear and Mary (John) Swanton, Atkinson, NH; three sons: Clyde (Daphne), Grand Falls-Windsor, Hayward (Sheila), Abbotsford, BC and Manuel Jr. (Mary), Victoria; thirteen grandchildren: Clyde Jr., Fay, Kelly Lynn, Chris, William, James, Dawn, Kerry, Shona, Danny, Lori and Jeff; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; special friend: Kay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Sunday, April 15. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, and Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made the Canadian Diabetes Association or the United Church, Victoria.
