ROSE, Wallace- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, March 18, 2007, Wallace Rose of Salmon Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: John S. and Ellen Rose. Leaving to mourn, wife: Lillian; sons: Carl (Rhonda) and Wally (Norma), both of Salmon Cove; daughters: Marilyn (Kevin) Noel, Freshwater, Carbonear, Julie (Larry) King, Victoria and Kelly (Brad) Russell, Salmon Cove; eight grandchildren: Michael (Julia) Noel, Robert (Sherry) Noel, Billy Noel, Jamie Rose, Melissa (Darren) Parsons, Deidra Rose, Kenny and Kendra King; three great-grandchildren: Samantha, Kristian and Taryn; sister: Sophie Snow, Freshwater, Carbonear; three sisters-in-law; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 20. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Wallace Rose Memorial Fund.
