KING, Dan- Passed peacefully away, after a short battle with cancer, at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2006, Dan King of Harbour Grace, age 60 years. Predeceased by parents: Ralph and Myrtle. Leaving to mourn, wife: Melvina; two daughters: Danielle King (Craig McLean), Hamilton, ON and Kimberley (Brian) Mercer, Toronto, ON; one sister: Susan (Herbert) Dunphy, Milltown, Bay d'Espoir and their children, Erin and Amanda; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation hours by request of the family on Monday, Nov. 13 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Inurnment to follow on Thursday, Nov. 16 from St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Catalina. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Carbonear General Hospital c/o TCP Health Foundation.
