Betty, Ed, Carolyn & boys, Even though our family circumstances make it impossible to be with you, please know that our thoughts and prayers are. We were so shocked that Ed passed away so quickly, and only wish that we could be closer to you all. If there's such a thing as something good within a bad situation, then I'm very glad I could be there with you on Thursday at least. I know there's nothing anyone can say to make sense at a time like this, but know that you are supported by loving friends and a caring God. May the God who has seen us through all of life's circumstances continue to strengthen and uphold you now. Blessings to you all in this time of sorrow. We'll see you next week. In Christ's love, Rev.
