CRAWFORD, Bernard- Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 2, 2006, Bernard Crawford of Carbonear, age 79 years. Predeceased by wife: Jean; parents: William and Lucy; brothers: Paul, Bill, Dolph, Francis, Joe and William; sister: Sadie Short; brothers-in-law: Gerard Short, Edward James and Arnold Pike. Leaving to mourn six daughters: Donna (Randy) Hedquist, Calgary, AB, Barbara (Thomas) Murphy, Carbonear, Rose (Bill) Lambert, Victoria, Paula (Ted) Maher, Cambridge, ON, Lillian Crawford, Guelph, ON and Joanne (Perry) Noseworthy, Whitehorse, YK; five sons: Gary (Yvonne), Edmonton, AB, Joe (Cynthia), Victoria, Frank (Pam), Heart's Desire, Robert (Liz Cumby), Carbonear and Paul (Sherry), Whitehorse, YK; twenty-eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother: Jerome (Sheila) Crawford, Carbonear; three sisters: Mary Pike, Portugal Cove, Rose Crawford and Joan James, both of Carbonear; sister-in-law: Patricia Crawford, Carbonear; special friend: Margaret Merrigan, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear and from where the funeral will take place on Tuesday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Carbonear.
