Obituary of Jean Kane

KANE, Jean- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, July 24, 2006, Jean Kane of Harbour Grace, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: Thomas J., 1973. Leaving to mourn one daughter: Ann (Andy) Walbourne, Gander; four sons: Michael (Rosemary), Riverview, NB, David (Janice), Stephenville Crossing, Thomas (Louise), Corner Brook and Edward (Bernice), Harbour Grace; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Stella Christian, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral will take place on Friday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
