BARRETT, William G. of Salmon Cove, passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2006, age 87 years. Predeceased by son Kevin, 1978; brothers: Maxwell, Everett, Lloyd and Jack; sister: Marjorie. Leaving to mourn wife: Nellie M.; two sisters: Yvonne MacMillan, BC and Alma (Clarence) Pynn, New Chelsea; sisters-in-law: Winnie Barrett, Mount Pearl, Marion Barrett, Norman's Cove and Doreen Barrett, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Thursday, June 22. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.
