Obituary of Dorothy Burden

BURDEN, Dorothy- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, June 9, 2006, Dorothy Burden of Carbonear, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: J. Charles, 1994. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Betty (Herman) Taylor, Carbonear and Clara (Harold) Antle, Victoria; two sons: William (Lily), Goose Bay and Frederick (Violet), St. John's; eleven grandchildren: Kenneth (Debbie), Debbie (John), Bill (Elizabeth), Michelle (Wally), Natasha (Glenn), Gary (Miriam), Bill (Cathy), Bonnie (Bob), Shawn (Gerri), Cory and Steven; thirteen great-grandchildren: Michael, Crystal, Meaghan, Danielle, Arianna, Erin, Shane, Charlotte, Justin, Daniel, Chelie, Robyn and Kerra; three brothers: Joshua (Lydia) Hiscock, Victoria, Leonard (Martha) Hiscock and Ellis (Lorna) Hiscock, both of Kitchener, ON; three sisters: Joyce (Ted) Churchill, Labrador City, Wilma Parsons, Salmon Cove and Jean Dodge, Little Heart's Ease; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Monday, June 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Carbonear. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
