Obituary of Hazel Grace Peckham

PECKHAM, Hazel Grace (nee Parsons)- Passed peacefully away at the Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, St. John's on Monday, March 27, 2006, Hazel Grace Peckham (nee Parsons) of Victoria, in her 97th year. Predeceased by her loving husband: Ephriam Peckham in Feb. 1979, her daughter: Hester J. Clarke in March 2000, three grandchildren: Earl E., Terry V. and Harold Clarke; son-in-law: Richard Parsons. Leaving to celebrate her life with fond and loving memories her sister, Major Lillian Thompson, St. John's; three daughters: Winnie Parsons, Carbonear, Ina (George) Denty and Muriel (Gerald) Attwood, both of Mount Pearl; one son: John (Alice), Victoria; son-in-law: Earl Clarke, Victoria; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; good friend and roommate: Mildred Osmond; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Glenbrook Lodge. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and until 12:00 noon Thursday, March 30. Funeral service to follow on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Brookside Garden at the Glenbrook Lodge Nursing Home.
