KING, J. Pearl- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, J. Pearl King of Mount Pearl and Small Point, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Allan; son: Eric; brothers: Jack, Willis, Ronald, Hedley and Douglas; sisters: Beatrice and Annie Maude. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Joan (Winston) Trickett, Small Point; three sons: Bob and Gary, both of Mount Pearl and Glen (Tracy), Edmonton, AB; two grandchildren: Jason Trickett, Jasper, AB and Janice (Jim) Sheppard, Paradise; one sister: Blanche Wheadon, Lindsay, ON; one brother-in-law: Melvin King, St. John's; one sister-in-law: Effie (Nels) Mutrey, Mount Pearl; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 9:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church, Park Avenue, Mount Pearl. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John's. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
