To Linda and family I was so saddened when I heard of your Mom's sickness and passing. She was a wonderful neighbour to me and always cheered me up with our "over the fence" chats. I will always remember the many times I cried on her shoulder. She was a wonderful lady and I know you will all miss her as I will. Just remember the good times you had with her. God bless.

Uncle Joe and family, So sorry for your loss. Aunt Edie was a kind, loving and good person. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of visiting Western Bay in the summer. Whenever we left she would warm our shoes on the oven door, that's just one silly example of her kindness. Everyone who knew Aunt Edie knew she was a Christian, that's why we can't feel sad for her. We can rejoice for Aunt Edie instead. Remember John 3:16 Sorry that I will not be at the funeral but my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Debbie, Rodney, Jon and Matthew

To Uncle Joe and Family I was sorry to hear of Aunt Edie's passing and I regret not coming to visit over the years since I left Newfoundland.I remember Aunt Edie as my fathers' sister, a sister he held dear to his heart. She was the last of her brothers and sisters to pass on.(precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints) My sister once told me a story of how my grand mother prayed and stated that "has for me and my house we will serve the Lord". Aunt Edie, her brothers and her sisters all loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with God that was first and foremost in their lives. I believe that Aunt Edie is now rejoicing and celebrating her eternal life in heaven along with her brothers and sisters in the presence of her lord and savior Jesus Christ. I pray that the god of all comfort will comfort you and your family now in your time of sorrow. Love and prayers from Bob and Elizabeth Hull and family

To: Uncle Joe, Cecily, Linda, Viola, Snowden,Sam, Murdock and families Rowena, Mom and I are saddened by the passing of Aunt Edie. Rowena and I have some wonderful memories. She was there for us during the early years of our marriage and at the birth of our first son, Dean, while living in Toronto. She was such a loving, gentle and kind person who exemplified Christlike characteristics. We especially remember the day Rowena and I broke the news to her that we had given our hearts to the Lord. She was so happy and the joy of the Lord just seemed to radiate from her face. While we are sad, we are yet rejoicing for we know that the day that she lived for has finally come and she is now present with the Lord. We regret that we are unable to be there with you at this time of grieving, but weather conditions are hindering us from travelling. Be assured that we are thinking of you all and we are praying for you that you will find strength and comfort as you look to God, the giver of all strength, love and comfort. We love you Raymond, Rowena, Dean, Gary and Families and Aunt Violet.

To Uncle Joe & Family: We are deeply saddened at the passing of Aunt Edie, and can understand the pain and other emotions you are feeling at this time. It is only time and cherished memories that will allow healing of the great loss of such a precious kind, gentle, and sweet person. She would always share with us the deep personal relationship that she had with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. A relationship that began when she was just a young woman, and lasted her lifetime here on earth and continues on forever. Her greatest prayers were for you, her family, whom she loved so very, very much, that you would all be together eternally. She is now with her Lord, her loved ones, her mother, brothers and sisters who have gone on before. The bible says "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." And also,"We know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were disolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." We are very sorry, but because of adverse weather conditions, we cannot be with you; but be assured we are thinking of you, sharing in your grief and praying for you. May God bless you and lift you up in the hollow of His Hands in this hour of saddness. We Love You All. Wilfred, Vera & Family.

To the Crowley Family: Sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Edith. We will always remember the quiet talks we had with her while we ministered in Western Bay from 1989 - 1993. She always displayed a genuine love for the Lord. Be assured our thoughts and prayers are with the family today. II Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforteth us in our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Crowley's passing. She was such a wonderful person. My last visit with her was to show her pictures of Preston's wedding. Her last words to me were "You know, I still love you". My last words to her were "I still love you also". This is how I will always remember her - a very kind and loving person. I feel very privilaged to have known her for so long and I will cherish my memories of her always.

Aunt Edie, I can't be there where my heart is. The weather is so rough but when I think of where you are it really makes me glad. For there is no more pain and suffering for you. You are with our precious Master who loves you more than words can ever say. As you swept through the golden gates in your new snow white gown. The angels sang and the music played as you were welcomed home. I'm sure it was a happy day for those who'd gone before; all your sisters, and your brothers and your precious mother were there. But best of all, Jesus was waiting with arms open wide to say "My child well done, your work is done welcome home." He is so strong and gentle with eyes filled with so much love as you gazed upon him, I can just imagine your over whelming praise for the Lamb of God, standing there. For now we must part untill our work is done and we too, are welcomed home to that great reunion with our family and our Lord. You have been such an angel here on earth and a great inspiration to us all. You showed your love of God to us all. Your mother raised such a family of Christians, to pass on to us, the truth and love of God. We are blessed to be a part of that family. We must cary the tourch and keep running the race, to pass onto our children the knowledge of Gods grace. Untill we meet again on the golden Jordan shore, I must say goodbye for now through tear filled eyes, for you my dear, dear aunt will be sadly missed. With all my love, Lori

To the Crowley family: My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Take comfort in knowing that this sad time will eventually be filled with thoughts of the many good times you had with your wife, mother and grandmother. I am thinking of you. I saw this poem at the funeral of a good friend who passed away last summer. It may make you feel a bit better. WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU When I must leave you for a little while, Please do not grieve or shed wild tears. And hug your sorrow to you through the years. But start out bravely with a gallant smile. And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all the things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in youthful ways. Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer, And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near. And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the Sky! God Bless you all. Earl A. Lantz
