ROSE, Edith A.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 18, 2007, Edith A. Rose of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Elizabeth Hunt; sister: Liz and brothers: Edward and William. Leaving to mourn, husband: Jack; two daughters: Margaret (John) Merrigan, Harbour Grace and Brenda (Herman) Miller, Mississauga, Ontario; eight sons: Joseph (Philomena 'Phil'), Harbour Grace, Kevin (Deanna), Carbonear, Jerry (Stephanie), Windsor, Ontario, Jack (Christine), Thomas (Bridget), David (Bernice), William (Donna) and Philip, all of Harbour Grace; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Eric Reynolds, Harbour Grace; three sisters: Beatrice (Reg) Cox, Harbour Grace, Marcella (Tom) Hayes, St. John's and Molly, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral will take place on Monday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Edith A. Rose Memorial Fund. Hunt
