I not only lost my mother, but my best friend. I have such fond memories of my mother, the things she would do or say, the smell of the cookies she would bake, the times we worked down to the plant together, so many memories....but still I yearn for her touch and the sound of her voice. I was there with you to the very end and I am glad that I was, even though I can't see your face anymore or touch your soft skin, your love and tenderness will always be in my heart. I am what I am because of you. From my husband John and son Shawn we will all truely miss you and love you forever... we will meet again someday MOM....Love Marg, John and Shawn...

JACK AND FAMILIES: An Irish Funeral Prayer Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Everything remains as it was. The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no sorrow in your tone. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again. Source: derived from a sermon written by Henry Scott Holland and delivered in St. Paul's (London) on 15 May 1910, at which time the body of King Edward VII was lying in state at Westminster. Although not originally derived from Irish writings, versions of this sermon have been used at many Irish and Catholic funerals over the years.

We are saddened by the loss of our grandmother. But we have fond memories of her to keep with us forever. As children Brad and I would go over to visit with nan and get a slice of her delicious homemade bread with butter and sugar, and her famous snowballs. She had a good sense of humor and always knew how to make us laugh, and she was the one Mom would always run to when Brad would injure himself. Which was pretty often!! We wish we could have been there with her and our family in this difficult time. She will be forever in our thoughts and prayers. We love you Nan and miss you very much!

Hi Uncle Jack and Family, It was so nice seeing you all together today, but I wished it was under different circumstances. Its hard to believe that Aunt Edith is gone, so had so much of mom in her. Loving, caring and understanding is just some of the traits that was the upmost and important to her. I will never forget going over there with mom to visit you all and vis versa. Seeing everyone only brought back the good memories of the younger years, those years when times where simplier and everybody made time for each other, no rushing trying to get things done and places to go. If only today was like that, then we all would find the time to get together as a family more often not only when things like this happens. With my heartfelt sympathy I send you this, know that my heart is with you all at this time and that with time things will heal, you will never forget, you will always remember. But those memories will be with you always no matter where you go. Take care of one another and God Bless each of you. Gail,Dan,Daniel,Robert and Kyle Butler(nee Lamkin, Eliz and John daughter)

Hi Pop, It's me Michelle. I need for you to know that my heart and my thoughts are back home with you. I wish I could erase just a small amount of your pain at this point. But all I can give is my heartfelt sympathy and support. Even though I am many miles away, my spirit is with you. Nan was a devoted wife and Mother who fulfilled her life's work with grace and dignity. She was a fighter till the end and someone who we can all learn from and look up too. Please give Phillip a supportive hug from his niece and help him through his mourning. Lean on each other for support when times get rough and embrace all of your family with open arms. My children, Courtney, Chloe and Chael are a little piece of Nan. I have yet to tell my daughters about Nan's passing as they are out of town with their Father. It's not something I look forward too. Chloe will be heart broken as she is a very sensitive little girl. Courtney will miss her memory of Nan and their couple of times spent together in the hospital back in 2004. They will mourn the loss of their Great-Grandmother as they treasure Newfoundland and their family back home. I see Nan everyday since Chael has been born. His long red locks of hair remind me of what she has passed down to him, her Great Grandson. She would have been so proud of him as I am. She has left me with many treasures through my children which makes me honour and cherish them even more. I'm saying goodbye now with tears in my eyes and love for you all back home. Give Nan a red rose from me and my family as a sign of beauty, strength, and love; all the things that she was made of. She will never be forgotten. I love you all! Yours truely and with sympathy, Michelle Cooper (Miller) and Family
